Learn the best practices in the standard molecular biology techniques performed in biomanufacturing, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology laboratories.
This hybrid course consists of a weekly asynchronous module that prepares students for the weekly in-person laboratory activities. Students will acquire and demonstrate knowledge and skills in PCR, gel electrophoresis, protein purification, quantification, experimental design, and execution. The course is designed to integrate theoretical understanding with practical application which prepares students for the dynamic challenges of biomanufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology laboratories.
Students must have taken Molecular Biology 1 - Genome Engineering @ ULP or apply for a prerequisite waiver.
