Students will acquire vital biotech workplace skills and receive a UCI digital badge in Fundamentals of Cell Culture upon completion of the internship.
This 9-week internship equips students with vital workplace skills such as communication, organization, problem-solving, interpersonal, and self-motivation in a biotech setting. Students will learn how to maintain a working wet laboratory and how to communicate with their peers, multidisciplinary scientists, and industry professionals.
Students will be able to earn a UCI digital credential badge in Fundamentals of Cell Culture, the President's Volunteer Service Award, and a $500 stipend after completion of the internship.
Prerequisite: Students must have taken Molecular Biology 1 and 2 at ULP to be eligible
