The field of medical technology (MedTech) has rapidly evolved over the past few years, with new innovations emerging every day. One of the latest trends in this industry is the use of digital prototyping and digital twin technology to expedite the development process. In this presentation, we will introduce the concept of a digital twin, discuss the requirements for building one, and explore the advantages of using this technology for MedTech and biotech companies.

Dr. Leyla Mirmomen is a seasoned product development expert with over two decades of experience in engineering, procurement, and commissioning (EPC) for the pharma and energy industries. She is the founder of Optimuos, a company that aims to streamline product development by leveraging digital tools and data analytics.
After moving to the United States just before the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Mirmomen shifted her focus to MedTech and Biotech startups, helping exceptional inventors bring their ideas to life. Through this work, she gained insight into the shortcomings of conventional product development methods and the need for greater digitization in the field.
Dr. Mirmomen holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and an MBA. She is committed to driving innovation in product development and helping companies leverage digital tools to achieve their goals. The mission of Optimuos is to make product development easier and more efficient by incorporating the latest technologies and data analytics.
