Susan is the President and CEO of Rowinski Group LLC, a medical technology reimbursement and healthcare payer data analytics consultancy based in San Francisco, California USA. Since 2004 Rowinski Group has worked with government sponsored, privately held, and publicly traded companies based in Asia, N. America, Australia, the Euro-zone, and the Middle East, who are developing and selling medical devices, diagnostics and digital health therapeutics for the US market. The consultancy has two core offerings: 1) Securing codes and commercial health insurance payer and Medicare reimbursement and, 2) Applying U.S. healthcare payer data analytics for novel purposes to assist companies to respond to questions from the FDA and Medicare, to ascertain FDA regulatory claims and Indications-for-Use on reimbursement options and to support companies’ coding and coverage efforts. Susan has a combined 30 years of operating management and consulting experience in developing, launching, and selling medical technologies. Prior to starting Rowinski Group LLC, she held management positions with increasing responsibility; Vice President, Marketing & Reimbursement (PharmaSonics, California), Director of Marketing (Cardiometrics), Global Marketing Manager (Medtronic), and Product Manager (Quinton Instrument Company) Ms. Rowinski began her life sciences career as a Cardiology Ultrasound Territory Representative (Advanced Technology Laboratories). Since 2009 Susan has been a member of the teaching faculty for the University of Michigan and the Georgia Institute of Technology since 2017. Susan taught for Purdue University (2006-2011) and for the University of California- San Francisco (2013-2019).
