Brenda McCabe is a pragmatic, experienced and independent advisor. After 25 years in corporate America and Europe as VP in Sales, Operations, Governance and Auditor for professional service and pharmaceutical companies, she left the corporate world in 2008 to work with a disruptive technology firm in renewable energy.
The focus of her work is growth strategy, capital allocation, operational levers, compliance, leadership / CEO coaching, and team build-outs.
I'm driven to identify gaps in science-based technologies and processes to improve user outcomes and company success. My strengths include critical analysis, scientific rigor and the ability to communicate in business and science.
Dr. Debbie Lin has over 14 years of business leadership experience in multinational environments, having lived and worked in global executive positions in the US, Europe and Asia. During her career, she has earned a reputation as an executive deeply passionate and committed to steering her organization in new business strategy and development, intrapreneurial and strategic thinking, and executional excellence. Debbie’s forte is new business model strategy, business development, venture capital in healthcare and medtech with a focus on value proposition refinement, market positioning and building strong teams for long term growth.
Jasmine Jiang is the Director of Investment at Sunstone Management, where she leads the investment activities and serves as a member of the investment committee. With a focus on seed/early-stage venture capital investments, Jasmine specializes in enterprise software, SaaS, and other emerging technologies.
Ms. Gibson is CEO and Co-Founder of Ariel Precision Medicine which serves key stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem by integrating AI, computational biology and clinical expertise. She led the development and commercial launch of Ariel’s AI fueled ADVANCE® Platform, transforming genetic and clinical data into new insights for early diagnosis and the development of new therapeutics for complex health conditions. She served as Chief Commercial Officer of Ariel Precision Medicine until 2016, bringing over 15 years of diverse experience in healthcare and biotech from previous roles at Purdue, Shionogi Pharmaceuticals and Gene Wiz Inc. Ms. Gibson earned her Executive MBA from Liberty University and a BS in Emergency Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh and is Certified in Disruptive Strategy from Harvard Business School and AI in Healthcare from Stanford.
Lori A. Torres is the founder and prior CEO of Parcel Pending, the nation’s leading provider of innovative package management solutions. She is a successful entrepreneur with more than 25 years of real estate experience. Additionally, she has been recognized on multiple occasions for her leadership and was named 2017 “Innovator of the Year” by the Orange County Business Journal. Lori has also been chosen as one of the 13 entrepreneurs admitted into the EY Entrepreneurial Winning WomenTM 2017 North America class and was a Regional EYEntrepreneur of the Year winner in 2019. Lori holds a Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University. She is a Certified Property Manager, (CPM), IREM.
Attorney and former in-house general counsel, Sarah Hibbard, helps technology, life sciences, and digital health companies create a strong legal foundation and position themselves for growth on the journey from research to commercial success, drawing on in-house start-up and multibillion-dollar company experience.
Sibylle Hauser’s international professional career spans over 25 years in global Pharma incl. Boehringer Mannheim/Roche for 9 years, emerging Biotech and global contract manufacturing at Vetter Pharma with a successful track record in corporate business development, licensing, fundraising, strategic planning and international marketing including a US biopharmaceutical product launch. In 2003 she moved from Germany to San Diego, CA and is well connected within the Life Science Community today.
Stephanie Hsieh is President/CEO of Waban Advisors Inc., a management consulting firm, and general partner and chief strategy officer of Noblespace LLC, a real estate development firm focused on developing biotechnology space in emerging technology markets. These roles are the culmination of over 30 years in and servicing of the life science industry, combining her operational knowledge of drug development with economic development and advocacy work on behalf of the industry.
